When it comes to buying a new aquarium you need to make sure you put it in the right location. if you do not actually make the right location possible for your tank then you will find it will suffer, the fish are going to suffer too.

The Fish

The main concern that you should have with a new tropical fish tank or marine aquarium is the fish as they are the ones that could easily perish if you put the tank in a location that just wouldn’t work well for them.

something that is dangerous to the fish is direct sunlight, it is going to increase algae in the tank and will kill off the fish. whilst a couple of course of sunlight shouldn’t do much harm I would still recommend putting it somewhere where the fish are going to be out of the sun all day.

something else that is going to cause some problems is putting a fish tank near a breeze. the is going to be a big problem if you have a tropical tank because it will drop the temperature in the tank which will then result in death of the fish.

Guests/People

One of the main reasons people get a fish tank is so they can put it in a place where it can be seen by the people in the house and any guests that may be visiting. before you even think about the fish I would always find the perfect location for the tank so you can avoid problems. it becomes a bit of a challenge if you have the fish in there and then find you do not like the location. Making sure you have the right aquarium supplies in the tank is also a good idea too.

although the location of the fish is very important the main thing to think about is taking care of them.
