Have your friends complained about your dog’s barking when you leave your house? A barking collar could solve all of those problems.  The kind of barking your dog does with no particular excuse is known as nuisance barking.  This barking can go on at all hours of the day and night and is often outstandingly nonstop.  There may not be any reason for your dog to bark.  He barks at cars, chipmunks in the yard, people passing by, or dust motes, but whatever the case, he just will not stop.

There are varieties of techniques that people use to try to decrease problem barking.  The younger your dog is the smoother the training will go.  If that time has came and gone, and you are now facing a older dog that barks continuously, the first thing you do is find the reason they bark.

If they are barking out of boredom, the simplest solution is to spend more time with them and get them committed in outdoor activities.  If they are anxious, find ways to make them feel calmer, such as providing them with a spacious kennel.  If you see that your dog is a very loud dog, training will be slightly hard, but still possible.

Every barking system is designed for many breeds of dogs and come in a variety of styles, models, and styles.  Make sure you talk with a specialist if you are skeptical of which collar to purchase.  There are no collars appropriate for a dog younger than the age of six months or below three pounds. Specific bark collars go on smaller pets but not usually smaller than four pounds. The intensity may be too powerful or the collar may be to big.  Make sure the collar is large enough to fit around your dog’s neck snuggly.  Using the collar start your retraining of your pet.  Each time they bark continuously remind them “NO BARK” in a stern voice.  If he does not pay attention to your voice the collar will give him the shock. Sooner or later, your dog will put your voice and the correction together and listen to you the first time.  If your dog stops barking when you tell him to, be sure to praise him and give him a treat.

Don’t leave your dog in a collar for more than eight hours on any given day, and don’t forget, the collar is most effective when combined with your involvement.
