Whisper had been residing in what we arrived to call her “Porsche Cave,” a shelter that Arthur built for her in our outdoor courtyard utilizing his vehicle cover. She arrived at our house terrified and would not arrive in the house. Immediately after practically two weeks of this residing arrangement, with some tiny progress in socialization every single day, Whisper stopped eating. On New Year’s Eve our neighbor, veterinarian Dan Pirotte, answered my call for help.

Very quickly we had a two-page call list for aid for Arthur when Whisper’s puppies came. So a lot of folks have been willing to assist, and did.
