Best Free Advice For Looking After Your Pets-
May 15th, 2010Pets AdviceIf you are searching a way to obstruct your dog from being too aggressively then look no further. It is very practicalto change your pups outlook with dog training in aggression.
There are two great causes that your dog may bebeingtoo aggressive.
Fear
Because of the nature of your dog being part of the wolf family, it is very naturalto exhibitdominance when they perceive themselves to be threatened. They will fore warn you that they are indeed threatened with the present situation by showing their teeth, barking and/or even barking.
If a dog or puppy is not used to being around a lot of people then this too will cause them some anxiety and fear.
This is why it would be wise to expose your puppies to lots of people at young age.
Take them out for walks in the park. This will expose them to many different faces, smells, sounds and walks of life.
It can teach your puppy to stop her aggression with other animals.
It will train her to the fact that it is natural for other dogs and animals to be in her presence frolicking around and that this is nothing for her to fear.
Protection
It is also very natural for your pet to become agitated and protective over things they consider to belong to them. It is their property and therefore you should not be anywhere near it.
For instance, if you go by their food or toy and you hear them growl or give you a fierce stare it is because they are protecting that item. They do not feel comfortable with you attempting to take these items, even if you are the one that gave it to them.
In case youare unaware, this is where the saying “bite the hand that feed you” came from.
No need to get alarmed because this, too, is irreversible.
Through continual dog training in aggression you can show your dog that you are the one in control. This is very necessarybecause it is in their nature to take head of household. As a dog, theyalways take on this responsibility unless they are taught that they are not the Alpha dog and they are to follow your lead.
Normal obedience training can accomplish this task.
They will instinctively realize that they are to follow your rules. Just make sure you reward them for the good things they do and ignore them when they are doing something that is incorrect.
As soon as they get used to this structure, they will allow you to touch anything because it will be clear to them that you are the king or queen of the domain and that they are just servants.

April 16th, 2010Pets AdviceCan you imagine getting a new dog and being really excited until you realized that he is in need of aggressive dog training?
Getting a new dog is just like having a new baby. You really don’t know what you get until it’s here. No matter where you got him from, the kennel, a neighbor, a stranger, a friend, or adoption agency there is no way of knowing what kind of personality it will have.
Sadly, not being able to deal with the bad tendencies you dog displays can become frustrating and make you give up. I do not recommend this because if you give up, then you are liable to return the pet from where you got it, or worse, take it to the pound.
If you have the ability to recognize the signs early, you can avoid making hasty decisions and actually correct the issue. This would be beneficial to both you and your dog.
Here are a couple of signs that your dog is in need of aggressive dog training:
1) Growling – Dogs normally growl when they feel threatened. If you find that yours is growling just because people or other animals are in his presence, then this may be a positive sign. Even if he only does it seldom.
It is also normal for a dog to growl when you go by their food or if you or someone is showing aggression towards them.
2) Snapping – If your dog has a habit of snapping other than the time of acting as a protector over the children and his food, then this is also a sign. This can be very dangerous especially if you have children. It can also mean a lawsuit if your dog bites a neighbor or any stranger that is not trespassing.
3) Showing Teeth- Another sign is if your dog keeps his lips apart and shows his teeth often.
4) Barking – What is meant by this is if your dog is barking obsessively at anyone or anything that comes in its presence for no reason. If you or a family member enters the room and the dog starts barking but he is not happy and excited, then this may be a problem.
There is no need to be upset over your dog barking at small or loud noises because this is normal for him to do.
Although this behavior is very negative you must be well aware that your dog can be treated. Giving him aggressive dog training is the cure for this problem and it is not difficult.
There love is very attainable as long as you have their trust.
