Tip 1:Could your dog be distressed in some way?. Ensure that he is not distressed as panting, wheezing and poor appetite can all be symptome of this. But these are just some of the signs you can see.By speaking calmly to your dog and stroking it, you can reassure it.
Tip 2:Do not punish your dog or lose patience as this will tend to create more stress and make your task more difficult. To teach your dogs not to do this, the best way is by not giving him any attention at all, not bad nor good.
Tip three:When your dog is over active or anxious, giving it loads of attention can be the worst thing to do. The best time to give your dog love and attention is when they are in a clam state of mind and are not doing anything hyperactive or too energetic.
Tip 4:Teaching your dog to obey the orders that you can give him is one of the biggest steps to helping your dog in dog behavior modification. Anxiety and bad behavior will be lessened if your dog can be trained in some simple ways such as learning to sit and stay.

Tip 6: Your dog may well not be the best behaved when you are out of the house and in order to lessen his anxiety in your absence you can try the following exercise. Try picking up your jacket or car keys or something that signifies you are going out, then leave, wait thiry seconds and return, greeeting your dog on your return. Repeat this exercise about ten times a day and your dog will get used to you leaving as he knows you will come back.
Tip 7: Your dog should have his own space in the garden our house that it can call its own and where it can relax. This should be a safe environment and if your dog gets to know this, it will lessen the anxiety factors that might well be leading to his bad behavior in the first place.
